Free Falling Multiple Mach Towards The Vortex

For some death is a factor that at all costs must never ever come to light.

For those of us that have seen death coming and going for seemingly an eternal lifetime it is as natural as a Baby Ruth Bar.

Never even noticing the darkest of all and any dark side until way up into the wee, hours that pass in slow motion, seconds hanging on every tick to tock.

Faces long ago making that slight introduction as conversations drag out into the light.
Then it happens.

One is dragged so, so ever deep in the trance of the living dead.
The alarm clock never set, but going off load and clear. A jump back to realty just in time before the inevitable vortex sucks Ya up.
It is at this very tick of the ensuing tock that jumping out of bed is the only savior.

I died yesterday.
Well, actually nine and a half minutes away from the final bell.

I went into Anaphylatic Shock.
I some how managed to Hit 911 on my Droid just in time before my brain completely separated from the rest of my entire being.

It was at this point I lost all speech coordination.
I could hear the 911 operator.
Faintly.
But any verbal reply on my part was on the way, way far side of realty.
I could not reply.
All Speech Coordination Was Completely Lost.

The last words I heard her state was;
"I hear the sirens, Thank God".

I remember four EMS working feverishly on me in the ambulance.

The leader of this team of death eliminators was a beautiful woman barking orders as the team hooked me up with Wires and IV's.

I remember one of my friend's standing outside of the rear of the ambulance, the West Coast Gorgeous EMS Team Leader asked Sam;
"Is he always this pale"?

"Hell No", was Sam's frightened reply.

Next thing I remember is laying in the E.R. wired, IV'd up with two Doctors barking orders as their team did their best to bring me back to this world.

I came too approximately 6 hours later hooked up like an electrical toy that had long crashed that final time into a brick wall.

The diagnoses was, Dehydration, An Old Body pushed to the maximum extreme and not a whole lot of body mass to absorb the Anaphylatic Shock.

Nine and Half Minutes away from Eternal peace.
What possessed me to hit up 911 is far beyond any cognitive reaction.
Nine and Half Minutes. I was almost home.

I was told to rest.
Drink plenty of fluids just like I do daily.
What was needed in this equation of life was Salt.
Yep. You heard me right. Salt.

I am not a salt eater.
Never have been.
But it was explained, so articulately to me that salt will actually keep water in my system for longer periods of time.

I already knew this, but the fact that at my age I piss like a race horse I feel blessed.
So needless to say starting this morning I am now sprinkling a little salt on my food.
As well it was explained to me, that well into my sixties I can not push myself physically as if I was still in my twenties.

So there Ya have it.
This Author was in all sense gone Sally gone.

All today I just keep repeating.

Nine and Half Damn Ass Minutes and I was out of here.
Hanging in that Peaceful Vortex over looking a cliff out onto The Most Beautiful Ocean Where All of God's Aquatic Creatures could be seen Laughing and Playing.

Standing there with my Lord, His Son, My Pit Named Binney, My Popz, my Momz, My Brothers and Sisters and All My Marines.

A most Beautiful of all sights.

Damn.

So Fuckin Close.

So Damn Ass Fuckin Close.

What the Hell.
Five Shotz couldn't drop me.
Better luck next time Old Man.

Ryan. Out.
